Yeeha – who else is excited about 2018???  This is the perfect time to start planning your social media strategy for your business.  Where will you focus?  What types of content will you produce?  How will you measure if social media is working for you? In this article, you will learn the steps to reviewing your past year and also how to approach your strategy for the new year.

Wondering how to review your business? Or maybe you haven’t even thought about it, yet are hoping for more success next year. But hope doesn’t grow your business! Goals and action do. And the best goals are informed by what’s already working for you – or isn’t.

Once, while interviewing search marketing meister Andy Crestodina, I declared “search engine optimization” is a misleading phrase. My POV is this: You don’t (or can’t) optimize the search engine. All you can optimize is the content you publish. Andy responded, “I think we should just call it ‘indicating relevance.’ I always say this phrase. We should rename SEO ‘indicate relevance.’” Tasty, eh?
